The Story

Before the temples burned and the herbalists were called witches, there was a keeper of the garden behind the temple.

They rose before the sun every morning. They gathered the herbs the priestesses would use that day — yarrow for fevers, mugwort for dreaming, the rough green leaves the women drank when they came in afraid of what was growing inside them. They did not perform the ceremonies. They did not deliver the prophecies. Their hands were what kept the temple alive.

They rarely sat down.

When the temples fell, the keepers did not stop tending. The garden moved indoors. The herbs became inboxes, calendars, the meals that fed a household, the small hourly acts of care that nobody thanked them for and that they did not know how to stop performing. The sacred discipline of keeping the holy alive became the modern fact of never being able to rest.

A child asks, generations later: why won't you sit with me?

There is no answer.

There still isn't.

Some of you carry this in your bones.

Edition 1 is for you. Seven days on the Caribbean coast of Costa Rica, held by the Virgo New Moon. We will not give you another list of things to do better. We will return you to the garden you forgot you were keeping.

To return is not to go back. It is to remember.

IV.
Why this date
Sky calendar

Renaceres opens on the rarest astrological gate of the Virgo year — and not by accident.

Three things make September 10–16, 2026 the only correct window for a Virgo-themed initiation:

The Virgo New Moon falls on Day 2.

September 11, 2026, at 18° Virgo. The Sun and Moon meet in the heart of the sign. New moons are when the cosmos plants seeds — and this seed is planted in Virgo soil, the sign of the temple, the body, the sacred craft. There is exactly one of these per year. The next one is not until 2027.

September 10 is a triple-ingress day.

Mercury moves from Virgo into Libra. Venus crosses into Scorpio. The Moon enters its darkest hours before the new moon. Three planetary doors open within twenty-four hours of each other. This is the eve. The room is being prepared.

The waxing crescent carries us through.

From September 11 to 16, the Moon walks Virgo → Libra → Scorpio → Sagittarius. We descend with her, then rise.

The peak day is Tuesday September 15.

Scorpio Moon. Neptune sextiles Pluto — a rare aspect that opens layers of inner work other transits cannot reach. This is when the central ceremony of the retreat is held.

No part of the schedule is decorative. Every day's central ritual is anchored to the moon's transit, the planetary day-ruler, and the active sky.

The Arc
Seven days · one gestation

Seven days. One gestation. The moon herself is walking it.

Day 1
Thursday September 10
THE WOMB

The dark moon. Mercury into Libra. Venus into Scorpio. You arrive into a room that has been prepared. No deep work tonight — the body is being received into a new land. We share a meal slowly. The circle meets at sundown. Rest comes early.

Day 2
Friday September 11
CONCEPTION

The Virgo New Moon at 18° Virgo. The opening ceremony is timed to this moment. You write the intention you will carry through the week, and the page goes into the altar. In the afternoon, the foundational chart session — your natal map as something you can actually read. In the evening, the opening cacao container. Soft. Slow. The first medicine.

Day 3
Saturday September 12
QUICKENING

Moon moves from Virgo into Libra. The seed cracks. Morning practice is somatic — bringing the body into the land. Midday, the first one-on-one chart readings begin. Afternoon is yours. Evening, a slow communal meal and the first fire circle.

Day 4
Sunday September 13
FORMING

Moon in Libra. The day is for the circle weaving itself. Gentle breathwork in the morning — first touch of the body's older layers. Then relational practices: eye-gazing, listening pairs, the work of being witnessed. Evening, a light ecstatic dance container. We are not yet down.

Day 5
Monday September 14
DESCENT

Moon enters Scorpio. The water deepens. Deeper breathwork in the morning. Long integration in nature. Tomorrow is the peak — today, we conserve. Evening, a facilitated circle: what is rising, what is asking to be released? Lights out early.

Day 6
Tuesday September 15
THE CROWNING

The most astrologically charged day of the week. Scorpio Moon at depth. Neptune sextiles Pluto — a rare aspect that opens layers of inner work other transits cannot reach. The peak ceremony is timed to this window: a long cacao container moving into held breathwork. Multi-hour. Held by trained facilitators. Followed by long integration and quiet space. No teaching tonight. The body is doing the work.

Day 7
Wednesday September 16
BIRTH

Moon enters Sagittarius. The fire of what comes next. Integration circle: what are you taking home? Final astrology session: the year ahead in your chart. Afternoon, the closing ceremony — the Day 2 intentions returned, new vows spoken to the circle. Late afternoon departures. The retreat ends. The work continues.

VI.
Four Pillars
The four pillars in Virgo

Renaceres rests on four practices held simultaneously, not sequentially. Each edition refracts them through the sign's archetypal field.

01

Natal Chart

Virgo's portal opens with foundational chart literacy and closes with the integration of what your sixth house — Virgo's house, the house of devotion, body, and craft — is asking of you in the year ahead. Two group sessions, one private reading.

02

Plant Medicine: Cacao & Breathwork

No psychedelics. Virgo medicine is herbal, somatic, embodied. The opening cacao on Day 2 is the soft introduction; the peak container on Day 6 is held in full daylight, opening with cacao and moving through guided breathwork. Held by trained facilitators with integration support throughout.

03

Ecstatic Dance & Somatic Movement

The body is the temple Virgo asks us to honor. Movement is daily, structured at first, then wild. Optional, witnessed, never performative. No prior experience required.

04

Jungle Immersion

Cahuita is jungle that meets reef. We walk the trails. We swim in the river. We eat what the land grows. Virgo, before she was a personality type, was the herbalist. The land remembers her.

VII.
The Land
The coast

Cahuita is not the Costa Rica most retreat brochures show you.

The Caribbean coast of Costa Rica is different from the Pacific side. Wilder. Less manicured. The water is warmer. The jungle is louder. The food is Afro-Caribbean, and it knows what it is. There are sloths in the trees above the road and toucans in the air at first light. The reef begins fifteen minutes by foot from where you will sleep.

Edition 1 is held at a private property in Cahuita, ten minutes from a black sand beach and twenty minutes from Cahuita National Park. Twenty to thirty guests sleep across the property in shared or private rooms depending on tier. Meals come from a kitchen that knows ceremony. The land has water and shade and silence at the right hours.

The full venue details and travel guide are sent at deposit confirmation.

The Host
Who holds the space

This retreat is held by people who know what they are doing.

[PLACEHOLDER — Cris's founder bio: 2–3 sentences. Astrological background, ceremonial training, why Costa Rica, why this work.]

The full retreat is co-held by a facilitation team of bilingual practitioners trained in evolutionary astrology, ceremonial cacao, somatic breathwork, and integration support. Names and bios are sent to applicants who receive an offer.

We are not crowdsourcing this. We are not improvising. The container is real and the people holding it know how to do that work.

IX.
